Finally, what we have been waiting for all week had finally arrived and the band, as well as the producers, can now breathe a sigh of relief. It's safe to say that it has been a very long week and as we were leaving everyone was visibly drained of energy.

Day 4 consisted of mainly vocals. After getting the instruments down, the track is really coming together and the producers think that the vocals will really unite the song.
Stu was relentless in his singing, a real trooper, even when right at the end of the day when the production team were happy with his take he said "nah, I'm gonna do that again". His distinctive voice and vocal pitch, clearly impressed the producers.
As always it came back round to Ady's Adventure series. Today Ady told us about his 30th and how he later found that eating slugs could potentially kill you... but we will get to that.

Having had a rather rubbish start to the day; filled with bad drivers, nosey women and traffic jams, I wasn't thinking that I was getting the right vibe for recording but finally, we got to 'The Fuzzbox'.
Once there, I realised that I had forgotten the Starbursts- which IS as essential to the band as any instrument or lead guitarist- also the Snickers which isn't as bad but it still, it wasn't that great.
However, tonight it was totally the opposite. I think by this point, the band as a collective, know exactly what is expected of them and both Pete and Dave finally got their pieces down without too much stress. Having listened to a mix that the producers have come up with -without the vocal- the single already sounds amazing! I cannot comprehend how they are going to make it better but apparently... it's a kind of magic??
At some point of the day, as always seems to be the daily tradition, Ady will tell a story from his very colourful and yet tragic life. The band love the Ady Adventure series, as it mostly either crude or twisted. Today was about Agent D. Brown and his undercover operations... we can't say anymore because of copyright issues but one day I shall write a screenplay about it and make it into a film with a bit of luck!

Day 2 in the 'Fuzzbox' was a nice easy four hour session for the guys. Craig 'The One-Take Bass Monkey' Oates began the day with a nice easy run through, living up to his new name-sake with Simon proclaiming 'if he does this in one-take I'm going to cry!' to which producer Lee said 'if he does this in one-take I'm just going to make him do it again regardless'.
Much to our amusement, he did!
Next up, Pete 'The Sexy One' Horobin. After the producers established that Pete only understood a certain dialect of english -which was 'Petelish'- they told Craig what to tell Pete and it wasn't so hard after that!

Today was the first day of recording and its safe to say the band are
physically and mentally knackered or in Si's case... dead! After
spontaneously combusting in the live room.
